TTGDA is an association of Teaching doctors ( Medical teachers ) working as clinicians, academicians, and researchers in Telangana Government Medical Colleges who joined government service with a Postgraduate Degree.
Our members are tutors, Assistant Professors, Associate professors, Professors, Additional Directors (Principals and superintendents) working in various departments like pre clinical, para clinical, clinical and administrative departments.
Our association is committed to give quality Healthcare to poor patients of Telangana as well as from neighbouring states. It is also committed for academic excellence in medical education along with advancement of research in the medical field.
Teaching doctors pay scales, working pattern and Head of the department are different from other government doctors.TTGDA is formed with an intension of having separate association for teaching government doctors to represent and resolve their issues in a better way and to communicate with higher authorities and government regarding their demands.
Teaching doctors have three important roles :
1) Academician - Teaching undergraduate, Postgraduate students and paramedical students
2) Clinician - Treating the patient with empathy by using latest treatment modalities
3) Research and Publications
TTGDA is formed with a motto of bringing absolute " UNITY " among all teaching doctors of Telangana with a slogan " ONE for ALL , ALL for ONE ".
TTGDA association elections will be conducted democratically in all Medical College units as well as State body, once in every two years to elect dedicated leaders. They will represent teaching doctors issues to higher authorities and government.
TTGDA logo speaks about our commitment to serve patients, teaching students as well as research and fighting for our rights . Teach, Treat and Research are three important roles as a teaching doctor.

Teaching Doctors ( DME side) need TTGDA as a single, strong association, which must work for all primary members through out the state of Telangana. It should work as well as conduct elections in democratic way regularly. Every member should abide by TTGDA constitution.
All teaching doctors across the state of Telangana must enroll as members in TTGDA and strengthen it. All members must be united and fight for our rights.
All units of TTGDA must coordinate with state team and conduct meetings at regular intervals as per the constitution. Office bearers need to respond to member's issues, represent to higher authorities and achieve demands.
